Wednesday 19th February 2025, 6:30pm – Dr Stephen Bourke, AM, Director of the Pella in Jordan Excavation Project. Stephen will be speaking on the Chalcolithic site of Teleilat Ghassul
Wednesday 16th April 2025, 6:30pm – Professor Alison Betts, FAHA, FSA, Edwin Cuthbert Hall Chair of Archaeology and Mythology of the Ancient Middle East, will be speaking on the Early Bronze Age site of Jawa
Wednesday 18th June 6.30pm – Dr Margaret O’Hea, University of Adelaide will present a lecture on Looking through the Glass: Reflections of the Archaeology of Jordan.
Wednesday 16th July, 2025 6:30pm – Dr Phillip Edwards La Trobe University, Melbourne will lecture on Founders of the First Villages: recent work on the Natufian site of Wadi Hammeh 27 and its lakeside setting.
Wednesday 13th August, 6.30pm – Dr Pam Watson, University of New England will present on the Roman period in Jordan, with particular reference to Pella.
Wednesday 22nd October, 7.00pm – Dr Glenn Corbett, will talk on Bill Jobling’s work in Wadi Rum Jordan
Wednesday 26th November, 6.30pm – Dr Stephen Bourke will present a lecture on Pella during the Bronze and Iron Ages.
